Bebe Moore Campbell died last week. It has hit the African American literary community hard. I am saddened by the loss of her talent and insight.
But in addition to that, I feel a cold wind on the back of my neck pushing me to do more, write more, write faster, live harder. Ms. Campbell was only 56 years old. How many more stories did she have in her?
